Thanks there is also a blue porcelin crab in there. I just picked up a few more can't wait till i get home to add them but I guess i'll have to.

I can't take credit for thing shelves , it's actually a frag holder that is held in place by magnets .

very cool. do you recall where the frag holder was purchased? brand? thanks!

I got the frag rack from jon in vero beach Fl , it was a display item that didn't sell . So he solder it to me as live rock by the pound , it's about 3 years old now. This link might help you find some.

alt="" /> So let me see if i can think of what is in the Water Box . 1 yellow watchman goby, 1 high fin green clown goby. 1 penderson shrimp, 1blue porcelain crab ,1 anemonie porcelain crab and a couple of micro hermit crabs. several snails nerite, astaris, mexican turbo and the conch.
4 rock flower anemonies and the brown anmonie
1 candy cane pistol shrimp
the new gorgonia
corals consist of green leather , a few zoathids , blue star polyps, xenia, and the new lps. I think. tat is everything in there now. new I left something out the mushroom leather, feather duster and macro algie picushion urchen and tuxedo urchen

The filtration has changed from a canister filter to a bucket sump with return pump ,heater, base rock, and a piece of plexiglass up top that suports my algie scrubber screen . My last tank did great with an algie scrubber , so i had to figure out how to add one to this system . Little to no evaporation is stii something I'm aiming for so I cut a window in the bucket lid and sealed it so light gets in but no evaporation is going on .

Your tank is adorable! Unusual description of a reef tank probably, lol
Very cool blue porcelain crab, I gota get one, invert lover too.
Do you have a tight top on that tank? If your limiting your oxygen available to the water you might want to add an air stone. Oxygen plays a very important role in Aquairums.

Edit: How about a full tank pic?

The system is sealed to prevent evaporation but there is a positive force skimmer powered by an air stone that kind of works but mainly adds air to the system, and there is also a good bit of air bubbles created in the sump bucket by the overflow.

Edit: Caught the pistol and porcelain in the same picture

The bucket sump was a royal pain when i cleaned it today so it is no more . the replace
CAM00120_zps6ca49391.jpg
alt="" />ment is a major improvement I used a tank I built a while back it is 16" long 12"wide and 12"tall. Ther are no permanent chambers so i can take everything out if I need to for any reason. where the water enters there is a shelf held up by eggcrate that supports the algie scrubber the water goes around boath sides to the front of the tank whare there is room for the refugium. in the middle of the tank there is the return box that water enters through a sponge for polishing the water befor returning to the display by the maxijet1200.And of course it is sealed to cut down on evaporation by a piece of plexiglass i cut from an old sump.

Edit:

Major livestock score in Miami Fl today tiger goby , green clown goby, and red dragonet all for under $30

Also picked up a monkey shrimp to go in the sump. I usually keep a sally light foot in the sump to eat scrap food that makes it's way down the overflow , but i have been looking at the monkey shrimp since I got into saltwater . Finally found one and figured I would give it a try .
