yea i have the gcg on the list. also check out the hectors goby. they swim in the water column rather than perching. not sure if ill add a hectors to my pico or not but they are a pretty fish. ive also been thinking about a green banded goby (aka cherry/red head goby)
I've had the hectors before it did great for a couple of months then it started loosing weight so i rehomed it . it sifted the sand a good bit i think it depleted its food source . The mask goby swims in the water colum takes to prepared food . I plan on adding 2 or 3 mask gobies but they may have to be an online order this times .
I was planning on adding a wheelers gobie to the tank but Ifound a orange spoted shrimp gobie at The Fish Garden , in Newnan today it looks a lot like the wheelers .
alt="" /> picked this up today in vero beach fl, I was told it is a tangora goby but it doesn't look like the ones I find when I google it. I also picked up a rose goby and a nice duncan coral with 5 heads.
alt="" /> The orange spot goby has paired up with the pistol shrimp and isn't hiding as much. I would like to say the coral and two fish Ipurchased on Sunday had a speedy trip to the tank from Florida to the water box but that didn't happen . Due to the winter weather and icy roads they didn't get there till today. So far they are acting like true gobies and hiding for now hopefully I will see them soon.
alt="" /> here's a where's waldo type picture all the gobies are doing great and eating norie like champs with the exception of the scooter blenny that has taken to formula one pellets
Picked up another porcelain crab and a bumble bee shrimp at Blue Planet Friday . Haven't been there in a while , and finding a bee shrimp there made my day
Not great but trying to hang in there I finally added my 240 power head to the tank and have it were it can get more flow now so hopefully it will get to looking as good as it did when I got it
alt="" />the palies in the pic with the shrimp are the ones Igot from you are doing great
I'm hopeful that it will come around with more flow in the tank. I was letting the flow from the return do the job of watter fow but maybe I needed more , the power head has it looking like a like a snow globe when Ifeed the tank now
