What stores will test your water for you? I have a strong feeling that my nitrate test kit has gone bad. I now know for a fact that it has expired by checking the Lot date (API test kit). But I want to know what my nitrates are really now while I wait for my new ones to come in the mail.

What tipped me off to check my test kits is I tested my nitrates and it said that they were at 160... All fish are fine, all corals are fully expanded and my shrimp are happy as can be. From this alone that has to be wrong.

From Google it said the last four digits of your lot # is the date of manufacturing meaning my test kits that I bought BRAND NEW 3 months ago are over three years old...

I imagine all of them do, but I know for a fact that Imagine Ocean does it. 99% sure that it's free for basic life support parameters; small charge for calcium, mag, etc.
