Weird orange and white worm

My wife called and told me she saw an orange and white worm crawling around the tank about about as big as your middle finger and thin no picture sorry also I checked my tank today now all of a sudden one of my clownfish is nowhere to be found

yeah id bet its a bristleworm too..i had tons in my 14 gallon tank..they kept it pretty clean...some people try and get them out but they do get rid of a lot of debris and are good food for wrasses...just watch out for your hands..the larger one can hurt if ya get poked...and if u are the allergic type id be extra careful
 
ive heard of bug ones but the ones in my tank have never gotten larger than an inch or so...if i saw a huge one i may pull it out
 
i showed her a picture of a bristleworm and that was it thanks when she called you would think she saw a ghost lol
 
They are good for your system so long as they aren't 6 foot long, lol. They only eat dead stuff too. Fishies are fine.
 
i found out what happened to my clownfish he somehow found his way down the overflow i dont understand how this happend my overflow has those teeth to prevent things like this

that brings me to my next question could two different species of clownfish get a long lets say a maroon and the 1 true perc i have now
