James, we don't have the same type of eel, but I have a green wrasse, dragon goby, and two clowns in there with mine. I don't know much about your kind. You know about my guys, they're all pretty aggressive, but are all surviving and thriving, I think. Feel free to pm me if you'd like.

You're right, I have a snowflake. It's easily big enough to eat my clowns or dragon goby if it really wanted to. It hasn't bothered other fish at all.

What else is in the tank right now besides the eel?

Crabs and snails are all that is in there with in now, @ ayear ago I held a couple of fish for my friend the eel didnt bother them but it is larger now. It is a lil over 18 inches long and a little bigger around than my thumb.
