I havent had ick in a tank since i started back up. Yesterday i got a small blue tang. (yes i know i shouldnt have a tang in a tank my size but its really small and will be years before its too large for my tank.) Anyways he was fine at the store, eating, all the fish looked fine. Brought him home, acclimated him for about an hour and a half and then put him in the tank and turned off the lights for a few hours. He was fine yesterday, hid for a while, then came out and was swimming around fine. This morning he is covered from head to fin in ick. None of my other fish have had ick, so im really worried about it spreading. I dont have a quarantine tank, and copper is out of the question. Best thing i can think of is a fresh water dip, any other suggestions?
