let me know if you need help with anything, I def. have some live sand for you (courtesy of Flying Army) and a micro clean up crew (brittle stars, bristles, etc) and some Chaeto if ya like - just holler...

Thank you for your generosity. I could use about 10 more pounds and that'll get me finished w/sand. As for the cuc... I don't think my water params will be ready for such for a while. I had a brittle star on my rock, as well as a big bristleworm, but I haven't seen either in a few days. I think the star may be kaput. I doubt the bristle is gone, though, from what I understand of their... tenacity.

I live ON 101. If you've lived here a while, you probably know my house as "the white one that took so long getting built that I thought they probably ran out of money"!

yeah...kinda by the creek...I thought it was being built with drug money lol.. I live in Ravenwood..up by tanner farms..

That's me. If I had drug money it would have been finished a LONG time before it was. I built it out of pocket, and mostly by myself. Good thing the labor was so slow that the money could keep up.

I know somebody in Ravenwood but I forgot who. How's that for a good memory?

BTW, when Mark gets home we're having a big cookout for him. You'll get an invite.

11 months and counting...

Welcome to the deep side of the tank!!!

It'll be nice to have someone around who can give us periodic updates on Mark. Also, please let us know if Mrs. Smith needs anything... yardwork, handyman stuff... anything at all. We'll be glad to stop by.

Oh, and that financial sting? Hate to break it to you, but it never wears off.

I joined this forum on the recommendation of FlyingArmy, who is a relative.
I also will be becoming a real ARC member before long.

There. That's the intro. Now to go pimp myself out so I can buy another 40lbs of live rock... :)

I'm starting to see that! As for the Mrs., I'll send those words along. I've been pestering her to tell me when she needs anything. I see her almost every Sunday (she's my first cousin but sister-close). My 4 year old can't get enough of playing with Conner!

Maybe not but you can now say "I can build a house, out of pocket with my own hands!" Feels good I bet.
