yesterday i bought a 29 gallon cube, i bought the premixed salt water and some live sand and set it all up last night. The water is nice and clear this morning. Im gonna head up to blue planet when they open at 12:00 and get a good bit of base rock and some live rock. Also going to get a thermometer, heater, and magnetic cleaner. I was thinking about going ahead and buying a fish as well.. probably just a perc clown. They have a (small as they can find) porcupine puffer on order for me. I was told yesterday at the store that if i used the premixed salt water my tank wont even need to cycle so my tank should be ready for some life today. Im going to take a water sample just to make sure. Do you all agree that using the premixed salt water avoids the cycling process and that it will be okay to get some life today? thanks for any suggestions and/or comments.
