So I'm out and about and I get a call from my wife screaming my daughter broke the fish tank and water was everywhere...I guess she was doing cartwheels and kicked my 10 gallon nano in the process..so I get home and of course the carpet is beyond soaked. I lost all my live stock corals included(just frags) as my wife had no idea what to do. After so many towels later and a trip to Walmart for box fan and a 10gallon tank I have A. wet carpet and B. a new tank again.......

Sorry to hear that. My 4 year old daughter has been doing cartwheels in the same room as my 75. Looks like I need to crack down on that, before she cracks the tank.

Yea I would nip that in the butt before you end up with 75 gallons on The floor lol.I thought 10 was bad I wouldn't know what to do with 65 more gallons on the floor.

Let me know when you get the new tank set up, I would like to help you stock it with some coral frags.I know how devastating that can be. Just let me know when it's up and running and cycled and we'll start out with some Z/Ps.

My Pleasure. All I ask is you help someone down the road that may need something you can help them with. Happy Thanksgiving.

Hey jamen89 let me know if you need some sand to start your new build, I have about 40 lb of white reef grade sand all dry that it came from my tank when it was set up, never had an issue with leaching anything bad, since all of my corals were happily flourishing, it could help mixed with some live sand, it was bleached and is all dried. Is not much I can offer but you can have it.

I know how daughters can be lol mine knocked my mp10 off the tank because she was "angry" at her mother while I was gone doing an arc trade... luckily it wasnt broken but she is no longer allowed to touch the tank or play near it after this story..

Ahhh kids. Love em all the time but there are moments. Sorry about the minor flood.

Not sure how old your daughter is but mine is 11 and it gets better each year. We had a friend that said the same thing until she hit 15 and it was downhill after that :lol2: If yours is still small, wait until the moodiness kicks in! The last year or so has been a roller coaster ride.
