Hitting Cozumel, Belize, Costa Maya, and Santo Thomas de Castilla in November!

Cant wait to hit the reefs!!

Anyone have any good suggestions? Im going on NCL, so debating to book with them or a local Co. for dive/snorkeling. I believe I can just snorkel on my own from the shores though, correct me if Im wrong.

I have been to Cozumel. You can snorkel along the shore; however, taking a snorkel excursion is much better. I saw a lot of cool stuff along the beach, but the excursion was pretty awesome... way better. It has been a few years, but I think our excursion was 2 hours. Have fun...

I did the exact same trip one of my favorites defiantly visit one of the private islands at belize and you can almost walk to a smaller but still considered big reef it was awesome and then get a t-shirt that says " I bielize in it"

Oh and at the stop in cozumel don't let the army looking guys freak you out and don't intimidate them either they don't like smart fellows

+1. Been out with Christy and she runs a stand up op.

I only went snorkeling, but did get some pics! Ill post em soon.

I did get a sweet pic of a turtle our guide took when he had to freedive about 35ft. to retrieve the camera laying on the ocean floor that I had dropped.

I have done about 40 feet before free diving to get dropped weights/items/etc. I don't think it is really that uncommon. You equalize on the way down if you need to. It isn't like you can hang out there long, or at least I can't.

He was down there long enough to get my camera and take 2 pics of the turtle. Ill get them loaded on here in a few hours!
The camers is a waterproof one, but only to 10ft., so I guess I lucked out it didnt get messed up goin down that far and staying down at that depth for about 10mins.

some pics. Not the best as I trying to figure out the underwater mode on the camera lol. It was bought just for this cruise...
