Wet/Dry Filter Setup Question

Hi,

I'm setting up my first wet/dry filter and the instructions are not very clear. I have a Proclear Aquatics model 75. It says it's rated to 75 gallons or 350gph. I have a 950gph pump that came with the setup and am not sure if this is too large. Do I need a smaller pump? It's making a lot of noise.
