What are your TDS's?

35 in 0 out

Back in MN EVERYONE had 200-300+ I suppose one difference is ground aquifers vs surface water here.

34 in...0 out.
This is directly from my RO unit.

I store ro water in a brute for ATO. I tested it too.
71 !!. Never seen that before.
I assume my brute needs a good cleaning.

30-38 in, 0 out. Using Captive Purity membranes (very cost-effective, work just as well as the more expensive ones) and AquaticLife prefilters/DI resin.... also cost-effective.

200 GPD unit ( 2 x 100 gpd membranes) and we go through LOTS of water, I'm not even sure how much!

I got a BRS 5 stage 75 plus. Just hooked it up and the instructions says to run it for an hour. The TDS meter says 2 in and 0 out. So do I need a RO/DI unit?

That 2 might simply be the reading after the RO portion before it goes thru the DI. What's your source? (well, city?)

Haha... that's probably why. Not sure, I live in Gwinnett County.

I think you're talking about dogdude's post.. he bought a system that leaked like it wasn't even tightened up...

he had to nearly take everything apart and re-tape all the threaded fittings, I think he also had to replace some o rings..

I don't remember the thread, but he wasn't happy about it.. (understandably so)

I tested my tap water today.. 30 in... (still 0 out)

boy you guys got good water to start with. your filters must last ages. In my old house my in was 70-90. Where I live now 135-155 in. Always 0 out or I replace filters. Of course for those that dont know let your unit run a few minutes before checking the out #`s.
