ive gotta buy a reg and solonoid for my co2 bottle to replace the one I have. I see several brands for sale, are some better than others, what do you reccomend? the reason I have to buy a new one is because I caught the one I have sticking on ocassion:eek:. it scared the crap outta me so I wanna a good replacement!

Not the cheapest by any means but this one is suppose to be the best on the market.

Doesn't need a bubble counter just count flashes. Also nice is that it has a 3 year warranty.

nice, thanks for the info, so if i understand the website info correctly, i can get the non lcd model for 189$ ? right? thats not bad at all if its the case

Yup- that's correct. Oz has one of these, and appears to work well.

BUT........the good old school CO2 reg with solenoid works very well also at $99. I have one I've used for years. Our Sponsors may stock this as well.

I run a reefanatic and brass check valve and never had a problem. Love it!! And it was only $150

the plunger isn't seating properly, remove the solenoid and see if there is any build up or possibly a broken spring on your existing setup..

btw, solenoids can be replaced, typically for less than $30

yeah thats what i was thinking! im going to start disecting that bad boy tonight! the reg prob needs to be serviced as well, local dive shop said they could make it new!
