I have a 120g mostly sps tank. Want to purchase a calcium reactor. Any suggestions? Im leaning toward the reef octopus single chamber reactor on brs. But wanted to get several ops. Thanks

MRC is great. I've had great luck with the Reef Octopus as well. Just don't skimp on the regulator! Thats the most important part. Go with Milwaukee. For goodness sakes, stay away from the cheaper brands...

Buy used it will save you money, mrc, deltec, life reef.

I bought a used Knop C and added a 2nd chamber (Sea Systems reactor) with recirc pump.

We'll see how it performs, but based just on reputation I'm very optimistic. It is the original calcium reactor design by renowned aquarist Daniel Knop.

This particular model was chosen due to its small footprint and rating. It can be mounted on a cabinet side wall and handles up to 200 gallons, without the added chamber.

We have both the MRC CR-dual nano and CR-1 in stock. They are dual chambered and single chambered, respectively. Come in and take a look at the quality of an MRC unit, up close and personal. Best of all, you can take it home with you! :)

Brandon got his nano reactor from me. That thing was great for the 93, but I upgraded with anticipation of what is need for my 210. I got the Cr-2 to replace it. The advantage to a larger reactor is that you fill the media less often.

Well i just got a great deal on a knob c from heath. Just have to buy a few items for it .

Edit: Its small but from reviews it works great.

Jimmy, if you don't have a regulator for it yet, people swear by the one from Aquarium Plants.

Expensive, but apparently well worth the price of admission.

If the one that was included craps out, that's what I'll be going with.

I would have gone with MRC hands down, if real estate wasn't such a premium in my new build.

It is a fantastic regulator. I use one. Love it.
