I have used neomag for 2 years and have noticed that it dysentery shrink unless ph is low but it still releases sum mg. Wen used just not much wen at higher ph levels
You can test the stone for its mg. Content by crushing it to a fine powder ad .04 grams to 5ml ro at 6.0ph shake it (I use a centrafuge sp?) Let it sit for a 2-4 hrs and then test its mg lvl do the same with new stone and compare if the mg. Is not being released the levels will be The same sum Times it will release most of its mg. Content and not shrink.
If the mg. Content is as high as new stone +/- 10% put the neo mag in the first chamber on the calcium reactor and lower the ph coming in just run 2 reactors of arm on the system 1will bring ph around normal levels the second will keap it stable

Seth, I wouldn't be horrified by those measurments... They are within the acceptable, normal range, IMO. Granted, they are on the low end of acceptable...
I would dose enough of Randy's Mg suppliment to raise Mg 100 points and increase my CA reactor output (for me this means droping the pH in my CA reactor .05 units for you it may be increasing the CA reactor efflient flow rate) and re-test in a couple days.
