I recently grabbed a male YWG... Yellow turn white... (Felame)
Bought me a yellow (smaller Goby)...
Paired up in less than a two hours.. wondering for some time...
Now they are coming out much more than use to... I love it ^^

What's going to happen to my pistol shrimp???

P.s. I never seen him... I dont know if they ever paired up before....
i just hear him clicking at feeding time at night~~~

My guess is that they will eventually find each other and begin sharing a burrow.

Sure that big goby is a YWG?
Never seen a female with dark markings...

+ a lot. Our big female has no stripes, just a lot less vivid yellow than a male.

That's weird... When I first bought him home, she was yellow... Within two week she turned white.... And I read up saying yellow watchman goby turns white if it's female... I added smaller yellow watchman goby and they paired up right away... If it's not ywg, can you guys tell what type of goby is?

That snail shell misled me too...

It's not the fin - I believe it's a shell - it's the strieopd that throw me off...

It,s a yellow watchman goby no doubt about it. I too have had a yellow turn whit just like that.

They paired up really fast, and rhett are sharing same barrow.... Female comes out much more than use to...

The white is not in question - but the dark markings ON the white...

What's gonna happen to pistol shrimp? Btw? Too bad, I heard they can't see well... Hope it lives.... Lol
