What is the best bubble algae eater?

I voted emerald crab, its the only one I have experience with but has worked for me multiple times.

Mexican Turbo Snail worked for me.

Never had enough that I had to worry about it. The emeralds I've used wouldn't touch it. I would just pop them loose or break them and siphon out during water changes.

Had one out of three emeralds love the stuff. It was fun to watch him pull them off the rock. He cleaned up the tank and never saw any since until just recently. Unfortunately, the emerald passed away a while back so I was thinking I may need to get a nother but now that I see tangs will sometimes eat it, I need to look see if it is still there.

Good news, something got to it because it isn't there any longer. :-) Not sure if it was the yellow tang, hippo tang or purple tang but I am glad it is gone. Now if I can just get something to take care of this aptasia outbreak!!!!! Tried a couple shimp but I suspect my yellow choris wrasse decided they would be dinner.

You may want to try a mollie miller blenny, they don't look near as tasty to wrasses. I'm not sure how effective they are but would love to follow along.

I think Glen (Spikes Corals) did an experiment a while back using them. He had no luck.

Here's what I am thinking:

Either 15 more emerald crabs or a small foxface.

I think a naso might grow too fast.

Recently, a lot. I will say when I had the biopellets running, I didn't have much algae, but I had cyano. Now the cyano is almost gone, but I am getting bubble algae popping up everywhere.

Limited experience here but in my case I had one big emerald and two small the small ones wouldn't touch it but the big one did. Either way, they are cool little critters that are fun to watch. Especially at feeding time.

I have about 12 emeralds now. I had a foxface in the past that was a great bubble algae eater.
I don't really feel like messing around with a qt, so I'm leaning towards the additional crabs.

I'd rather have 25 starving crabs than a tank with too much bubble algae.
