I noticed this on one of my rocks this morning. This rock is usually in my refugium, but I pulled it out to tie some algae to for my new yellow tang. Sorry about the pic, but it's pretty small and this is the best pic I got. (I took a bunch.)

I noticed it because just my blue lights were on and it glowed a little. Not as bright as some of my corals, but it was noticeable anyway. Can anybody id it?
Thanks guys!

Looks like maybe a mushroom polyp that's all closed up, or something similar.

Keep an eye on it - see if it opens or changes.

I thought maybe a mushroom or paly as well. Really can't confirm anything with this picture

Edit: Actually sort of looks like the mouth of an aiptasia and is the right color as well. If you had just pulled the rock, whatever it is wouldn't likely be open if it is a polyp or anemomone. All of these things are common LR hitchhikers

Alright I got a pic of it open. It's strange looking, but definitely not a coral I recognize. Also, not what I thought aiptasia looked like. All the white dots you see are on clear tentacle like extensions.

Edit: And again, sorry about the crap pics. Best I could do. Thanks for the help though!

Yep that looks really close to what I'm seeing. Cool! Not harmful at all. You know this is how I got my first coral. I noticed this thing on a live rock, and posted about it. Nobody could tell me what it was until it opened.
