From that picture, it looks to me like a fuzzy thing growing on your rocks....

I wish I can make out more, but cannot...

yeah, thats basically all there is to it. there are also small patches i've noticed that come and go sometimes on other rocks. its white, looks like branching algae, or skeleton looking

it is, its from my phone, it was the best i could do at the time. i'll try a different camera tomorrow and see if anyone can help

I've been doing a little bit of research on that picture, and to me it looks like "white hair algae"... Best to make sure if your tank has enough light, water changes, ect.

Does it look like this? I don't know much about maintaining an aquariam, since my dad and I just started as well.

thanks, i've kinda figured sponge as i have tiny little sponges all over my glass, just hoping that it wasn't anything i should be worried about

Edit: and it doesn't look anything like that white hair algae in that picture, it almost looks like a white skeleton
