I expect with such a durable fish we will find others with a lot more years on them.

And doing great. I have a pair of mating clowns, purple tang, yellow tang and file fish that all came to me through rehiring so who knows how old they are now.

My purple tang died last month. I got him on my 21st birthday as a gift from the shop I worked at... I'm 33 now. I do have two synodontis catfish that are 17! I wish I had some coral colonies that were that old.

".... so who knows how old they are now." This must mean that you are now 143 years young Rich. Did you purchase a "Model T" from the Ford assembly line back in the day. :lol2:

I've got 2 Ocellaris Clowns and a Cinnamon clown that I bought back in 2002. The Cinnamon Clown draws blood unless I smack her with an algae scrubber. Other than that my Purple Tang is about 8 along with a 4 Stripe Damsel and half of my Pajama Cardinal school are around 6 or so.
