After living in Hawaii, the ocean became my retreat to sanity. I knew that however stressful my day/night was I could sit on the beach or snorkel and it would all disappear for that moment. I was mesmorized by the coral and fish and loved every aspect of it (except getting attacked by an eel...true story). Now that I'm a few hours from the ocean, I had to bring that to me. I could watch my tank all day. It's my getaway from my insanely stressful job, and I love it.

I just love the hobby, I find this hobby to be very exciting and enjoyable. I've had a couple crashes, but for some reason I just stay driven to go bigger and better. So I guess all in all it's the challenge for me.

It's simply beautiful and relaxing. Comes with a great class of people to share with as well.

I'm at a point were it isn't an issue of "keeping me going" I need to figure out how to slow down. I need to figure out how to step aside and leave things the way they are for a bit. Stop buying coral, it's getting ridiculous! Stop contemplating new insane ways to make a better system that will in return cost a fortune.
Just yesterday I asked my fiancé If I could poke a hole in the bathroom wall because I swear there is a good sized dead space between that and the kitchen. After thinking about it I decided that would be largely catastrophic to my bank account as I would also have to tear down 3 rooms of sheetrock to get the pipes there for a fish room. Not sure when that idea is going to flair back up.... and it’s not a if, but when.

In the midst of loosing stuff following the major storms in the area I'm not sure what keeps me going, or how long it WILL keep me going.
