Hello everyone, I have a new 6 foot canopy with a Current Orbit fixture containing 2 150 watt metal halides and 4 Compact florescents. The lighting fixture has built in fans, but the guys at the LFS say that I need to install another fan in one end of the canopy to help pull the heat out. It is obvious that the previous owners of this canopy had a fan mounted because there is a large rectangular opening that measures about 7 inches high and almost 10 inches wide. The icecap fans are only a little more than 4 inches in diameter. Any idea what kind of fan the previous owner was using that measured these larger dimensions? I need something that will be salt water friendly and really quiet.
Thanks,

Scott

I am not sure how the mount would work but I have a Tunze aquawind it is a dual fan set up, is extremely quiet (don't even know it's running unless i put my hand in front of it) and has 2 power settings. I use it to blow across the water surface. The unit costs about $75.00 though. Has been well worth it to me.
