What kind of nem, and how to be rid of it?

I'm near to certain that whatever it is, I don't want it... but I also need to know what it is, first. Is it aphasia? Or other?




I have reef napalm (kalk+lye) and a syringe, but I'm wondering if I shouldn't just scoop it gently into a collection cup and remove it entirely?

i recommend removing it completely. don't even bother with joe's juice/kalk paste/etc.

Ugh. I failed to remove them, tried to scoop them up and the two got away from me, to where I couldn't see them, and I'm pretty certain I saw the dreaded gamete cloud.

Now I need berghia (which I'm okay with, more of a shame I wouldn't be able to keep them alive indefinitely), and a way to keep said bergia out of my overflows.

Any suggestions?

For the last, I'm thinking of cutting up an old fish net and somehow clamping it in front of said overflows... though I guess I'd want to eventually put some in the filter section itself to deal with any infestation there?

Don’t use aiptasia x, I did in my tank and some of my heaving feeding corals ingested it. It was super difficult to pull them back from it. Aiptasia F is nice if you’re trying to go a self extermination route. Filefish are hit or miss and berghia can help but don’t last
