What this club is about!

It was a combination of many things but tornados destroyed everything on the road I live on bu our house was missed that and having to work plus with the 2 people killed on my parents road made it hectic to take action immediately I did what I could o save everything but it just didn't make it.

It's so easy to think of how we can save our tanks but then the real important issues in an emergency take priority. I'm glad you and your folks are alright. My tank is a new set up, but the Colt I got from the Feb frag meet is doing really well and I could make the token gesture of fragging that for you. Let me know. Its good to be in a club that offers so much to a member when they are down.

Sorry to hear the news. I'm up the road in Monticello and you are welcome to any of my frags. Wish I could do more but I am not mobile right now.

Guys thank you so much for offering to help. At this time I really just don't have a lot of time so things take me so much longer. I got moved up to lead artist a few weeks ago at work which is great but put me from having 2 days off to just 1 day so not a lot of time to work on my tank stand. I finally got the stand to the point of staining last night. I am going to apply a second coat soon and hopefuly get it in the house tank and filled with water.

Hey buddie it sounds like things are coming along! If you need help on Tuesdays let me know, your only a couple of exits down and I would love to help out,let me know.

Sounds like things are headed in the right direction. I'm sad to hear about your losses, though. I wish I had something frag able to offer (unless you like brown coral)....

Ahem....

(just kidding).

How big of a sump? I am about to turn loose of a 140g acrylic sump (converted from a DT) and considering the circumstances I'll sell it for this cause cheeeeeeeep.</em>

Thanks guys. My biggest killer on this build at the moment is time. Work seems more and more busy these days. Which is great but the downside = not much time to go get stuff I need such as caribsea sand plumbing supplies. and stuff like that. Thanks for the sump guys

I know I appreciate all of it.. Now all thats left is to find 250w halide ballast / bulb, plumbing, skimmer... although I do have alternatives. Thats whats left on the list.

I will send a few extra pieces of scrap acrylic with the sump so that you can use them if you need them. You gotta post a Frankensump build thread....

Hey guys if you still wanna help me out one day that would just be awesome but for now if you are holding frags or fish for me don't worry about it. I really wanted a cube tank I've been working hard for months now trying to get all my ducks in arid and just one bad thing after the next has happens with this. I had a discussion with my girl last night and she really isn't on board with me building the tank anymore and there is a slight possibility we will be moving soon so I've decided to wait since the tank still has not been fixed. I got so much goin on right now and I just cant seem to find time to finish or even go get stuff I need. I am going to go pick my remaining pair of clownfish tonight and they will br in a simple fish only setup and that will be the extent of my salt waterfish endeavrors for now.

Its ok I am pretty sure I will get my tank going "one" day just not right now im sure you know how at times a reef tank can be.and its just more trouble then its worth at the moment plus I would hate to finally get everything nice to just have to break it down and move
