Im looking to set up some brs gfo and carbon, but not sure what type to actually buy from them? Any advice would be great for those who are currently running these set up.

Thanks....

I have been using Rox carbon, because it tests so well against leaching phosphates. But when I run out I'm going with the lignite. Rox is indeed a pain to work with.

I use the high capacity GFO just because it takes less product...and it fits in my reactor :)

Thanks for the input guys as ill be placing my order here momentarily...
Now whats the process for introducing this stuff into an existing system...
Im sure slowly but how slowly? as in whats the amount per reactor? Also does anyone have the given flow rate as these will be coming off a manifold so ill have to kind of guess with the ball valve...

BRS has calculators to determine how much to use. Its based on your total water volume.
I dont know what kind of media reactor you have but the GFO need to be tumbled very slowly.
