I need to start permanently placing some of the frags in my tank. What do you guys use that works well, doesn't pollute, and the best place to order it?

I use the purple epoxy from BRS, it looks way better than the white. It works well for me and sticks where i want it.

I'm cheap and buy aquamend at home depot. It is white so it sticks out, but the coraline covers it pretty quick.

Super glue gel.

I can NEVER find the aquamend at my Home Depot. I'll even show them their book that has it in it, and they look at me like I am stupid.

Aquamend is great...but I dont think you can get it anymore.

I have been using Waterweld...no problems.

Yes I used Aquamed too, but HD no longer has it in stock. Saw the Waterweld and wondered if it was ok. Glad you mentioned it BASSCYN.:yay:

Here is a good RC thread on it.

i overheard some guys in pure reef talking about Elos new glue that you can use underwater.

I used aquamend on a couple frags and it started getting brittle withing two weeks. I have been waiting to find a good deal on some of the purple stuff but just haven't yet.

I think the name I use is called aquastix or something like that. I use it with superglue from the same brand. Works great IMO. Oh and it's the red one.

If I remember correctly someone posted about not going crazy with it and placing all of your corals at one time because it may deplete your O2 levels or something. I can quite remember but just don't over do it. If it wasnt so late I would try to find it

I don't know the reactions characteristics off hand, but I would think it's a bad idea. What's that old saying about nothing good happens fast? I definitely learned something new. Had no idea aquamend wasn't available here.

I use this. Available at HD. Make sure to watch your skimmer when you use a lot of putty. It tends to cause lots of bubble and overflow.
