What were the first corals that made you want to become a reefer?

My "hooked" moment was when I saw Mark (FlyingArmy)'s tank. He married a relative, and when I saw his 160 cube I knew I wanted a reef tank. Actually, I think his old tank is for sale right now on here.

I don't remember anything about what he had other than a nice porcupine puffer and clowns, but it was the fish that stuck with me.

Where is mark now? I havent heard that name in a while. I bought my first ORA piece from his tank break down. That bum was one of the reason for my LE addiction!!!

After he sold his stuff when he got deployed, he did a year in Afghanistan and came home. He decided not to set up again because he knew he was going to have to relocate for the Army. They moved to Charlotte, NC. He is now a Lt. Colonel (he was a Major the last time anyone here saw him). I saw him at Christmas, but not since.
