If they're legal and you feel you can give them a decent home, then go for it! I was merely asking before because I did not know. Once positively ID'd see if you can find some info about their natural environment. Is it possible they might be brackish? What kind of flow do they like? How big is the tank they're in? Is it big enough?

i knew they were some kinda bait fish because people were fishing with them..
 
If you put them in your DT they will probably eat and ornamental shrimp or crabs (possibly even snails) you put in there. They may also (I don't know for sure) be aggressive to other fishes you have..
 
They will it almost anything that doesn't eat them in the wild and I would assume the same in the home aquarium!
