What's going on with Zoe's????

yea I actually went a little stronger at 1 1/2 caps to the qt. of ro/di. Then blew it with the baster. Lots of crap came out of the cracks in the rock but no pest that I could see. Kind of a hail mary

Really the only thing that has changed is PO4. I've gotten it down to 0 on my Hanna. I'm wondering if the LN has anything to do with it. NO3 is at 8. With the Crappy tester it still reads 0 go figure. It's got me to wondering if it's GFO related???

One last theory and I'll leave it alone. The rock as been leaning against the back of the tank long enough for the zoe's to start growing up the back wall. When I went to move the rock, it tore the things instead of a nice clean cut. It wasn't a couple of weeks this problem started. Maybe it was some type of infection that crawled through the colony. Just guessing.

I've experienced this one or twice before. I collect lots of zoas. Dipping is always my last resort, but I find it affect in most cases. You just have to be patient and give them time to recover from the stress.

I believe what you say to be correct. At this point it seems to not be getting any worse thank goodness
