Whatever it is, can I have some in hopes that it will take over the GSP in my tank? :)

That type of sponge took out a small colony of Zoas that were otherwise healthy looking. Took some time, but eventually, it took over.:(

dang I was hoping someone finally found a GSP eating nudi.

If you are worried about it a quick air bath usually does sponges in.

That's what I was hoping too. Took the small rock the Zoas were on and brought it onto a counter. Started picking at the sponge. I pulled most of it off the rock. Had it out for 15-20mins, but the dang thing returned and eventually caused the Zoas to not open. Then they shrunk into the sponge.
Perhaps it won't kill your GSP, unless you were hoping it would.:D
