Where to get acrylic locally?

I am thinking about replacing my center brace on my 39G tank due to it limiting my light choices and setup.

So, i am in need of a 1/4 inch thick piece of acrylic. Doesn't need to be any longer than 12 inches and no wider than about 4 inches.

Anyone know where i could find something like this?

home depot carries lexan and plexiglass

Do they? I thought i have been there before looking, and all i have found was Plexi.

plexiglass and acrylic are one in the same just a brand name

I do not think HD carries anything that thick any more. Lowes does though...

You might also call MRC and see if they have some scrap that you can buy!!!

I have seen some 1/4 inch at the depot recently. It seems to be hit and miss, some have it and some dont.

I just finished building my sump out of 1/4 acrylic and have some left you can have. Give me exact size and I'll even cut it for ya.

HD carries 1/4 acrylic/lexan. I just bought some last week.
