They are fragile shippers. IMO you'd be better off to get one from a LFS that has survived the trip and is eating.

Sometimes they can be picky at first, and take some time to accept frozen foods.

man they are hot looking fish though! I heard a podcast from the reefcast guys concerning one, and they loved it.... they are sand divers too :) + they eat troublesome pests off of your sps corals :)

There was a store here in ALABAMA called Fish Tales that had one.. but he went out of business :(

I get them occasionally, but like I said, they don't travel well. We work on them til they are eating prepared foods (and my supplier feeds their fish too, that helps)...

If they survive the journey and eat, that's most of the battle. Helps to deworm them too.

hmmm... as far as eating.. I don't have anything to compete with them for live food... as far as what wrasses normally chew on.. like pods n such... no mands or anything in the tank...

wonder if that would help get him over the hump.

They are just beautiful fish.. and suppose to be much more social than other wrasses.

We have a couple in QT at the moment... but they will be there for 4 weeks minimum. Super strict on these guys!!

 That's such a relief to hear nowadays

Try aquarium outfitters in Athens, GA - They had one that was in their show tank. He was eating and doing well. 706-546-1337

If you want some good leopard wrasse info, talk to mysterybox on here. He's given me some great info. I just got mine about 1 month ago. He's doing great but they are challenging. Mine is eating pretty much anything I throw in the tank now. Awesome looking fish too! He was very shy and in the sand for the first week not to be seen. Then he started coming out more and more. Just within the last week he's starting actually swimming around the rest of the tank when he's out.
