I am trying to get all my ducks in a row for my upcoming build of the 90 gallon. FINALLY! I want a good controller so I will feel safe while at work/school/vacation. It also MUST be web viewable.

Well the question is what are you trying to control? You could go with a RKL for $100, or an Apex for $500+...

Good question. As much as possible. Lights, heaters, powerheads, etc....

I'm getting the apex lite. Go to neptunes website and look there. Does everything but varable speed control for pumps, and 1 less ph port.

About 150 cheaper too.

I'd go with a Neptune product because their customer service runs circles around Digital Aquatics.

May not be an issue to some, but when spending that kind of $$, I want to be able to get an answer to a question or warranty service etc.

JMHO ;)

I agree, Customer service > most things.

If your basing it off of custermer sevice get somthing from Neptune systems. Just ask lilrobb about digital aquatics CS.

They misread my return ticket, and sent it to the wrong person.

While not exactly "cool" it also wasn't a major problem - I just ahd to wait until it was sent back from the guy and then shipped to me again...

LILROBB - what if the guy kept it or tossed it (don't i remember reading that they wouldn't send you another one until they received the original?)... good thing the guy that got it was on the up and up...

I prefer the Apex because that is the one I got the deal on.. (thanks again, PB doods)

How are you enjoying it? Fairly easy to set-up?

Thanks for starting this thread. I will be getting a controller very soon and was pretty much dead set on the one from Digital Aquatics until I read this thread. Now I am reading up on the APEX.

Thanks guys/gals
