Which Controller?

IMO, you're limiting yourself by trying to make older technology work for you. (everyone wants more bells and whistles, eventually)
Unless you're just looking for standard monitoring & lighting features, it's silly to look at the older platforms (*again, IMO)

The Apex and RKE's have been on the market long enough that most of their bugs have been worked out..

Either of them would be a good choice, but Apex system is the only system that can be adjusted over the internet (that's the real difference between DA & Neptune Systems..)

Yeah, I think I'm sold on what to do. It just may be a while before I do it. Schwaggs, I really appreciate the insight on the differences between the EB and the DC8. I like that you can monitor the current draw since that will tell you if something is actually working and not just if the outlet is turned on to operate!

I really don't "need" the Apex, of course. I don't run variable speed PHs other than my Vortech and I don't run reactors or dosing pumps. But, I really didn't "need" over half the toys I have in this hobby!! :)
