I have noticed a lot of white 'stuff' floating around my tank. It really kicks up when I use a turkey baster to blow off my rocks. The pieces that float around are not uniform in shape and are not small enough to be the usual 'snow storm' or carbonate of some kind. And it more delicate, it is pliable and bends through the current like algae. Seems more organic then mineral. It is hard to see on the rocks until I blow it off, therefore a pic is almost impossible. Luckily it does not seem to grow on my corals, but does grow on clam shells. I do see some areas with spider web type growths in dead spots. Could this be related?

Any ideas or help is appreciated,

Could be random sponge growth... As for the spider web things that is prolly due to one of those spiropid worms or whatever they're called. :)
