White color on my chalice

Any idea what this white area might be on my chalice? Or why its white just that little area

It is hard to see, is it the color of the coral that is white or something thin draped over it?

Any chance it got stung? One of my chalices got stung by another and looked similar but healed up quickly.

I'm curious too. I have a Jackolantern that a monti cap fell on and it looked like this.

Not getting stung, starting to get worse. I moved to sand bed. I really don't want to lose this piece. What else can I do?

I think moving it to less light is ideal. Can't get lower than the sand bed though.....

Is the front left getting enough light, its receded!
If it were mine I'd spot feed it with a little Reef Frenzy at night perks it up fast!
