Call or go to Fish Store and More. Talk to Derrick Anderson, he set up our tank and did a great job.

(btw- it is the same elevation from the street into the basement - no stairs or "terrain" challenges, just a heavy 36" x 33" x 87" tank)

Suggestions are apprciated, as no one i know has a clue who to call for such a job...

the tank will be ready to ship in 2 weeks, and I want to get this lined up ASAP... (one less worry)

I just noticed the dimensions. You're sure it will fit through your door right? I think one of the limits at my place is 30" otherwise the door and frame would have to be removed to get the tank inside.

Premium Aquatics, which is Marine Fish's installation/maintenance service can do it for you.

I used bulldog movers for my 900 lb beast. It only cost like $250 and that was insured and everything! It's worth it not to worry about anything happening!

And Simon I got my 450 from aquarium obsessed absoultely awesome tank and service It's starphire but with shipping and all was ~$3,000

I've move a lot of tanks, and this is real good advice. If i remember bulldog moving moved his tank and sent 8 Pro strong people to do it. For $250 thats a deal in my book. Anything over 500 lbs I let movers do the hard work and you can do the technical work.

Has anybody heard of any aquarium company moving a tank that size for less?
