I have Googled and tried to research it on my own, but very little info available. Best info I can find are online sellers that say only that most chalice corals like moderate flow and moderate light, but I was curious if they grow in ultra clean, or turbid water, where on the reef do they grow, basically, what conditions are they found in in the wild?

Any info or links is appreciated.

THere are several species of coral that we as hobbyists label as chalice corals. You probably need to narrow your search down a bit.

Echinopora, Oxypora, Mycedium, Pectenia........
