I am planning on upgrading my system towards the end of the summer and I am interested expanding to a 150 gallon tank. My favorite size tank is a 60x24x24.

I don't see this kind of tank too often... does anyone know of a company that sells this size tank, or better yet a vendor that is carrying one?

I know Chris at Fishscales can make you one. Probably cheaper then you can buy it and with starfire glass!

+1 FISH SCALES Chris is very passionate about his work ( may not be immediately but start your journey with him) you will like the results. :) very close to Suwanee

Oceanic makes a 150 with those dimensions. I had one that was custom made with a single acrylic over flow with 2 gravity flow bulkheads and dual returns, one drilled at each corner of the tank.

List is $638 (starfire extra ;)
FWIW- it's actually 60 x 24 x 25, and that works out to 155.8 gallons.

You are right about them not making those tanks anymore... Oceanic used to make a tank a few years ago called the "Ultimate" series that came with a starphire front. Here is the link I found:

60 x24 x 25 is the perfect size, thanks for posting the pic :D I have a few months to go before I start moving everything for the upgrade so I am going to keep my eyes open for something this size. If nothing comes up, I will go the custom tank route.

Here is a 150 (60"x24"x25") I built for Gmpolan a couple of months ago.

Chris,

That is an AWESOME looking tank! Can you do starphire/ low iron glass for your tanks?

I will be in Buford later in the week, are you going to be in the store on Friday? I would like to stop by and talk to you about the tank!
