Who's the boss?

White Spotted Kole Tang. Even bosses the Purple Tang and the Diamond Goby is not a big fan of him either.

I'm kinda curious what other people's experiences are in this matter. In my tank oddly enough the flame fin tomoni tang has become the "boss". It keeps the wrasses, anthias, and gobies in their place and makes sure the maroons aren't goofing off.
Funny you say the tomini. Mine is the same way. I always say tomini are very aggressive, but others say no. Mine actually ruled all my wrasse, even my mystery.

yeah man he is a mean little ****er ....but thats only when i first introduce a new fish after that they all just school and i mean all but two of my fish school together

Mine never showed any aggressiveness until I added a purple tang to the mix. He doesn't bug the purple but now he has like napoleon complex or something cause he's fairly aggressive towards some of the other fish.

Hopefully he'll calm down cause I'd hate to pull him out and eat him...

My 8" Acanthurus maculiceps easily controls the tank, but lucky for everyone in it, he is named "mellow yellow" because he doesnt really care about anything. However, my yellow tang THINKS he is the ruler, because hes always trying to bully everyone, including mellow yellow, who is easily double his size. Every once in a while m,ellow yellow has enough and runs the yellow to the rocks.

Neat. You have some interesting fish. I've never seen that particular tang before.
