Why are my Trochus snails dropping dead?

Water tests OK, the conch and crabs are fine, are they just old, they're kinda big, how large do they get/ling do they live?

Where is your magnesium level?

No idea. I change 20% of the water weekly, just assumed that would keep mag in line. Is there a way to test it that works, or do you have to send it off?

red sea and salifert make a pretty good magnesium test kit
