I was reading a thread last week on R2R about how Marine Pure blocks leach aluminum into the water. Most people aren't reporting many problems except with a few kinds of coral. I don't know enough about it but maybe something you might want to keep an eye on.

I also read somewhere that there's a counterfeit marinepure product out there and it's the source of the problem that people are having with aluminum leaching

Thanks for the heads up. I'll do some reading and see if I can figure out if I need to do anything different. I can just pull it at this point I think.
