I need some help figuring out how to utilize the dimmable capabilities of my Chinese black box dimmable leds I just picked up with an Apex contorller. Not very electrically inclined so any help is welcome.

Thanks,
Bill

First you need to make a controller cable from an ordinary cat5 ethernet cable.
(Highly recommend the unofficial guide for Apex controllers for the how-to)

The as easy as connection the 4 wires of the unit to the 4 wires on the cat5 cable and you're good to go...

I knew you would chime in Robb. I have that handbook downloaded. Time to do some more reading.
Thanks.

Looks like an easy deal to do. Match the color from the vdm to red and black and tie the two fixtures together. I presume the ballast in the led is set up the same as the instruction manual shows.

If you get a full size Apex there is no need for the VDM - the base unit can handle this.
