Can somebody tell me what it is and if I should get rid of them. There are numerous and they are in some clove polyps. Thanks.

I can't see any worms but if it's at the top sort of right, it almost looks like small brittle star legs.

I concur with the observations about bristleworms but I'm not sure that's what you have there. Brittle stars tend to hide in holes and let their legs droop out.

yes Jenn, in the upper right. It does look like a brittle star leg but I dont have one to my knowledge. I just figured it was some sort of a worm. I guess I will wait and see what happens to it.

Could have hitch-hiked in. I know I have tons of mini-serpent stars in my system (smooth legs) - similar could have happened with a mini-brittle. Time will tell if it's the larger variety or not but it's probably just the small variety.

I could be wrong - just based on the pic, but to me it doesn't look like bristleworms - they are fatter.
