A fellow reefer donated a number of coral frags to the school in Dec. of 2006. The birdsnest frag had a few branches and was under PC lighting until I upgraded in the spring of 2008 to T5. The coral really took off and grew at a crazy pace. I could not keep up with the Ca in the tank! I have a second birdsnest coral about the same size in another tank that was started from the same coral frag. That above pic was taken in Dec. of 2008 and I have donated a couple of large frags to the ARC raffle in the past and to other club members.
