Wrasse Compatibility Question

I have a few different wrasses in my Tank. I have a large blue sided flasher, a McCoskers Flasher, and an unknown species of pink fairy wrasse.

I used to have a Lubbocks wrasse in with them and they all got along fine. A few months ago I had a tank crash and I lost the Lubbocks. I added a new Lubbocks and a Solaris after the tank got stable and the resident wrasses killed them within hours.

Over the weekend I broke our Solana down and there was a yellow wrasse in that tank, that I added to this tank because I saw some nudi's and was hoping that it would help with that problem. I have had the yellow wrasse for a few years, so he is a good size. They do not seem to mind the yellow, but will mutilate any other fairies/flashers I put in there.

Has anyone else had this experience?

When adding similar species I think it's recommended to use an acclimation box for a couple of days. The yellow wrasse is also from a different family of wrasses then the flasher and fairies so that could be why they're tolerant of it.

I will have to look into an acclimation box, because when we upgrade I would like a few additional wrasses. They do seem to be getting along with the Yellow. So that is a plus
