if you have time, it's always worth going to a reef store. :)

Take pics of the new lobby build (as they took down the 300).

Well, just got home from my Orlando trip...long day

So, I went to WWC to check it out and talked myself into buying $299+ worth of coral so I can get free shipping before I walked in the door.

I spent a good amount of time trying to find the darn place and even had to call them when I was a block away to verify the location. I walked in and was amazed how normal it looked, nothing terribly special in terms of a building. They had been open for about an hour and had at least 5 guys on staff. One immediately came up to me, handed me the daily sales flyer and stayed within an arms length of me while I browsed in case I had questions. I was pressed for time so I really liked that service today. He was really friendly and I had explained I was in ARC, just flew in for the day and was looking to do some quick shopping for shipping.

I picked out some really nice peices (cyphastrea, chalice...etc..) and was amazed at the price for the size of the frags. A majority of what they had was not on the website at all. All the corals looked amazing to me and about 90% were price marked. I was in the process of picking out more and the guy handed me their in-store shipping policy which I would have to sign off on before they would. It said only $400+ qualifies for free shipping otherwise it was $60. I immediately dissapproved and said "hey man, whats up with this" he said it was the policy and I politely told him to put back my order. He said he would ask the boss man if it was negotiable, he left, came back and said sorry man - thats the minimum. Already a little frustrated from having to find the place and the non-stop Orlando tollroads I said no thanks and browsed a tad more and left.

On the way out he handed me a pen and paper and told me to write down what I wanted and to call back at some point and talk to so and so since the corals I wanted werent online....I left dissapointed but still really impressed with their prices and service...other than the bossman not budging.

Sitting at home now I am kicking myself for not just paying some shipping. But then again I didnt spend a dime which is what my actual budget was..lol

So did the place blow your socks off... or ... like me... were you left not all THAT impressed?

Ah, so sounds like they dump corals that don't move by offering free shipping to on-line shoppers (of $300 or more)?
