Ok I have a 140 gallon with the following

1 chromis
2 clowns
1 foxface
1 bicolor angel
1 coral beauty
1 yellow tang(added about 2 weeks ago)

I am interested in adding 2 more yellow tangs, do you think I will have an issue adding 2 more as long as I add them at the same time and do it fairly soon?

I have heard of taping pictures of other yellow tangs on the outside of the tank to create "more" tangs to distract the one that is originally in the tank.

any thoughts?

i'm following im curious too would be cool to have 2-3 yellow tangs

I have three yellows all the same size and introduced at different times. I leave the lights of forva few days after adding them. I have a total of 8 tangs in my 180 reef tank

I know its off subject but how do you like your bicolor angel? I was thinking about getting one and dont know anyone with experience keeping them?

He is great! I have seen him nip before but nothing that is done regularly at all its almost like he does it at the same time everyday which is right before I feed them....

Awesome! Thanks!! I couldnt decide on which angel I wanted and then I saw the bicolor angel on the internet( still havent seen one in person lol) and fell in love just didnt know anyone who had one so I could get some info.

Add the two in a acclimation box just to make sure. Go to any box store that sells hamsters, get one of those clear hamster balls. You know the one that you stick them in where they run around on the floor trapped in the ball. Perfect for introduction of new fish.
