Yellow Tang Referee

I have observed that whenever my clown and my 6 line wrasse square off....which is relatively often as they cross paths, the yellow tang will come between them and sit there. At first, I thought that it was a coincidence but it has occurred multiple times. Has anyone else noticed this?

My tank mates are all peaceful. My yellow tang is so much bigger than most of the other fish but is friends with all!
