Zoa cleaning procedure

I am getting some new zoa colonies that appear to be wild collected based on the substrate they are on. What products and procedures should I use to clean them of all nasties before placing them in my qt tank?

100 degree Celcius water? .

45 would be enough, all protein denatures at that temp...

On a serious note - CoralRx is my choice, it really does work wonders....

I agree with Robb on the Coral Rx. Have you ever tried Hydrogen Peroxide. You would not believe what jumps off the zoas and rock once dipped. Schwaggs what kind of substrate are they on, rock or shells? Do you know what region they were collected?

They are on rocks, not sure what region they are from, I will try and find out...

Typically 25% HP and 75% tank water, some say more a ratio of 1:10. Bubbles fizz up on the zoas similar to the way HP does on a cut, and gets deep down between the polyps. No need to brush, or use baster. I have not done the dip often, more when zoas do not respond to other treatment/dip.
